From 14 to 20 October, the German-language project "How German?" Reached all corners of Lithuania. Initiated in 2016 by the German Embassy in Lithuania, Goethe & #8217; s Institute, Central Board of Foreign Education System (ZfA), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce (AHK). For the fourth year running, the organizers have been inviting you to look at the German language from different perspectives - talk about it, discuss it, get to know the benefits of the language, get in touch with it, and not be afraid to ask controversial questions or just celebrate.
The Jablonskins also contributed actively to the active German-language lovers' association.
On October 18, the gymnasts organized an exhibition of creative works on the topics "Deutschland" and "Jahreszeiten". During 3-4 lessons German teacher SEReveltaitė gave her pupils fun German lessons. High school students from the 1st to 3rd grade sang together in German, listened to lines and took part in the Besserwisser quiz.
During 5-6 lessons German language teacher L. Šapkauskienė and history teacher I. Račaitytė invited 8th and I-II pupils from 5 Kaunas city schools to the integrated German language and history competition-protest SPUREN DER GESCHICHTE. Teams from KTU Gymnasium, Kaunas Gediminas Sports and Wellness Gymnasium, Stephen Darius and Stasys Girenas Gymnasium, Juozas Grušas Art Gymnasium and Jonas Jablonskis Gymnasium performed interactive, creative and academic tasks in the competition.
We thank all participants for being active, in good spirits, great knowledge of history in Germany, and glad you all love German! Good luck and wire Spaß!
