Exhibitions

Antanas Vienuolis-Žukauskas' Personality. We are happy to have the A.Vienuolis-Žukauskas Memorial House, where he lived and created from 1933 to 1947 intermittently. Even though A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas' household items did not survive, his exposition represents his life, creativity and spirit.

“Jonas Jablonskis. His life and works ”. Since the school is named after Jonas Jablonskis, the exposition is decorated with stands telling the life and work of this linguist.

School History. The museum exhibits an authentic deed with the signature of President Antanas Smetona on the laying of the cornerstone of the primary school. The flag of the primary school with Vytis, which was guarded by former pupils throughout the Soviet period, was unknown to anyone. It was only after the restoration of independence in Lithuania that the flag was donated to the school.

Ethnoculture. The exposition begins with exhibits of stone age axes and ends with unique works of scenography of the festival "Grok, Jurgeli" by folk artist Gintautas Gavėnavičius who lived and created during the Soviet period & #8211; "Holy Trinity" and "Saint George". The exposition reflects the medieval folk life and customs. The exposition, which covers the whole loft, resembles the little Rumšiškės.
